The kitchen is an important part of the home, where the right furniture can make all the difference. Our stock can be equally happy in either a contemporary setting, or in a home with a more rustic, country feel. A housekeeper’s cupboard or dresser, for example, can be perfect for storing crockery and utensils. Dressers and their earlier counterparts, such as Welsh deuddarns and tridarns, didn’t just serve a functional purpose, but were also crafted to a very high standard and were very decorative; this can be a genuine asset to the room, bringing a great deal of character and making it a much more inviting space to be in. If meals are also served here, the room may benefit from a refectory table, and if desired there are many set of chairs available, either to match with a table from our stock, or to compliment a table you already own.
