Here is a good quality French provincial chestnut lower dresser-serving base, constructed from earlier timbers (possibly 19th century timbers), during the late 20th century, circa 1970. The dresser, which boasts narrow proportions, is constructed of solid chestnut and features a lovely single plank top with chamfered front corners. This dresser boasts two drawers, which are constructed of solid chestnut and incorporate the original steel handles, above a simple straight frieze. Below, the dresser incorporates a useful pot board base. The dresser stands on four block legs. The back of the dresser features a single chestnut backboard.
The dresser features a subtle mellow chestnut colour, with a rustic finish. The dresser has been wax polished (using clear wax) in our workshops to achieve a lovely rustic finish. The dresser has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This dresser is in good condition. It has been constructed from earlier timbers (possibly 19th century timbers) during the late 20th century, circa 1970. The dresser has been wax polished (using clear wax) in our workshops to achieve a lovely rustic finish. The solid chestnut lined drawers feature their original metal handles and close flush to the frame. As the dresser boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic subtle mellow chestnut colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
