Description:
Here is a fine quality antique Art Deco 3ft 6” burr walnut & green leather-writing table, circa 1930, in excellent condition. The top boasts a good quality new black and gold-tooled leather, within a burr walnut frame. The desktop is finished with a thumb moulded edge. The writing table boasts a serpentine front and features three working dovetailed drawers. The drawers each retain the original walnut vertical handles, run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The writing table sits on four pretty square tapering legs. The item is solidly constructed, does not wobble and is ready to use.
This writing table features a golden brown burr walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

The table and leather are both in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The top boasts a good quality new black and gold-tooled leather, within the burr walnut frame. Therefore the leather is in perfect new condition, free from stains, dents or tears. The drawers feature their original walnut handles, and run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The item stands firm on the ground and does not wobble. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
