Here is a good quality antique English Art Deco oak octagonal cabinet, ideal for use either as a bedside or as an occasional cabinet / cupboard table, circa 1941, in good original condition. The cabinet is constructed with lovely oak veneers on a solid frame. The cabinet has been cleaned and wax- polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore it’s in good condition. The cabinet boasts a striking octagonal design, with a mirror matched design to the shelves and cupboards either end, incorporating two cupboard doors and two external shelves either side, with the original chrome metal handles. The cabinet stands on its original moulded bracket feet. The cabinet boasts classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the design and clean lines. To the underside of the cabinet, the date “1941” can been seen, which was when it was made.
These bedsides boast a mellow golden oak colour. It has a lovely colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.
The cabinet would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom and would certainly grace any home, in either a traditional or contemporary setting. It’s a great investment as it’s extremely functional. So, don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the top (see photos) and sides, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The cabinet retains its original chrome handles and feet. The doors are in good working order. The cabinet feature a lovely mellow golden oak colour. The item is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
