Here is a fine quality antique English Edwardian mahogany upholstered rectangular duet stool, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered and is excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered in top quality red lattice pattern cotton material, finished with matching braiding. The seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the upholstery, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The hinged seat lifts open to reveal an internal storage compartment; ideal for the storage of sheet music, if the item is used as a piano stool. The seat lid will remain open until you close the sold brass-folding hinge. The compartment roof retains the original burr wood panels to the inside of the lid, as well as the original mahogany base. The stool is raised on four elegant cabriole legs and pad feet.
This stool features a rich brown mahogany finish. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom to living room. This item would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

This stool is in excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered in top quality red lattice pattern cotton material, finished with matching braiding. The seat itself is firm and is very comfortable to sit on or rest your feet. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. The stool has been French polished in our workshops. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
