Here is an unusual antique English Edwardian mahogany waterfall book stand, with small delightful proportions, circa 1910, in excellent original condition. Constructed of top-quality solid mahogany, it is heavy in weight, which is always a sign of quality. The bookstand comprises a shaped pediment, with four large sections below. Each section is decorated with moulded panels, secured by a shaped waterfall shaped side. The stand is raised on four elegant cabriole legs above a moulded plinth. This bookstand is ideal for storing magazines, newspapers, books, or even as a general tidy around the home or office.
This bookstand features a mellow mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
