Description:

This is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid oak stick & umbrella hall stand, with a pair of tin drip trays, circa 1910, in excellent original condition. The stand comprises a floral lunette carved rectangular frame, partitioned into two sections. The frame is raised on bobbin turned supports, topped with turned acorn shaped finials. Below, the supports are united by carved stretchers for additional strength. Fitting neatly within the stretchers are a pair of removable tin drip trays. The stand is raised on turned feet. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.

This stick stand features a rich brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid oak stick & umbrella hall stand, with a pair of tin drip trays, circa 1910, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The stand has been cleaned and wax-polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. There is no damage to the oak frame, support columns or feet. The removable tin drip trays are in good overall condition with age-related wear visible. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
