Description:
This is a good quality antique English Georgian style oak corner cupboard, with a bow front design, designed to be wall hung, circa 1980, displaying a lovely colour, in excellent original condition. The oak corner cupboard comprises pretty bow front design, with a moulded protruding cornice. The bow front doors are constructed with good quality oak timbers, which features elegant oak cross-banding around the door frames. The oak corner cupboard doors retain their original brass “H” hinges and floral shaped key escutcheon. The right-hand door features a brass working lock (with working key). The inside of the door retains the original locking bolt latch and hook, which locks the left-hand door. The doors open to reveal an oak interior, comprising two shaped oak shelves, useful for storing glasses or other items. The corner oak corner cupboard retains its original solid oak backboards and four metal brackets on the back to enable the cupboard to be screwed to the wall. The Georgian style wall hanging cabinet terminates on a moulded plinth.

This is a good quality antique English Georgian style oak corner cupboard, with a bow front design, designed to be wall hung, circa 1980, displaying a lovely colour, in excellent original condition. The Georgian style oak corner cabinet has been traditionally wax-polished by hand in our workshop; therefore, the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the cornice, door fronts, leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. No splits or warping to the doors. The doors retain their original brass “H” hinges, original brass escutcheon plates and original working brass lever door lock (with key) and internal brass door bolt. The corner cabinet also retains its original backboards. This oak corner cupboard is solid in joint, structurally sound and ready to use.
