Here is a fine quality and practical antique Georgian mahogany cupboard, decorated with flame mahogany, boxwood and ebony inlay, circa 1820, in excellent condition. This Georgian mahogany cupboard has been adapted from a larger Georgian bookcase at some point in the past. The cupboard features an attractive boxwood & ebony inlaid protruding cornice above four working doors, which are constructed with flame mahogany panels, with boxwood string inlay and cross-banded borders. The right-hand doors incorporate working brass lever locks with key and the left-hand doors retain the original brass locking latches. Inside, there are six height adjustable shelves, which can also be removed if necessary. The Georgian mahogany cupboard sits on a plinth with bracket feet. The back of the cupboard retains its original pine backboards. This is a single piece Georgian mahogany cupboard and is ideal for storing all types of items out of sight.
This Georgian mahogany cupboard boats a mellow mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This Georgian mahogany cupboard would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the office, library or living room. It would certainly grace any home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional.

This is a Georgian mahogany cupboard which has been adapted from a larger Georgian bookcase at some point in the past, with later bracket feet. All decorative boxwood and ebony inlay are intact and in excellent condition. The four doors close flush to the frame, with working brass locks and key, and brass sliding latches. The Georgian mahogany cupboard has been cleaned and wax-polished in our workshop. As bookcase boasts its original French polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item.
