Description:
This is an exceptional quality pair of antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid mahogany, from the George IV period, circa 1825, in excellent condition. Constructed with top quality solid mahogany tops, they benefit from a stunning single-plank reeded moulded top (a sign of quality). Below, the tables are decorated with a fine box shaped banded frieze, with curved “D” ends, raised on elegant reeded legs and terminating on pad feet.
This Georgian pair of console tables boast a stunning deep rich red-brown mahogany colour, having been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. They possess a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

This is an exceptional quality pair of antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid mahogany, from the George IV period, circa 1825, in excellent condition. The Georgian mahogany console tables have been adapted from a dining table. The Georgian pair of console tables have been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. There are no splits to the tops (as the tops are impressively constructed from a single pieces of timber) and no breaks to the legs. The Georgian console tables stand on their original legs, which are solid in joint. They are well constructed, heavy, solid in joint and ready to use.
