A fine quality antique English pair of Georgian console tables, constructed from solid figured mahogany, from the Regency period, circa 1835, in excellent original condition. Constructed with top quality solid figured mahogany tops, they benefit from a stunning single-plank reeded moulded top (sign of quality). Below, the tables are decorated with the original ebonised painted frieze, interspersed by reeded panels and raised on elegant bulbous turned reeded legs.
The Georgian console tables s boast a stunning deep rich red-brown mahogany colour, having been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. They have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.
These Georgian console tables would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room as side tables, to the hallway as console tables, or as writing tables in a study. Here is a fine quality pair of antique English Georgian console tables, constructed from solid figured mahogany, from the Regency period, circa 1835, in excellent original condition. The Georgian pair of console tables have been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. There are no splits to the tops (as the tops are impressively constructed from a single pieces of timber) and no breaks to the legs. The Georgian console tables stand on their original legs, which are solid in joint. The tables boast a fantastic colour and patination. They are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
