Here is a fine quality antique English Queen Anne style walnut leather wing chair, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1910, which have been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a full grain chestnut brown leather, in excellent condition.
The Queen Anne style leather wing chair features a straight top rail, elegant shaped wings, a deep buttoned back rest, splayed arms, set above a straight apron seat. The Queen Anne style wing chair is constructed with a solid beech frame and has been newly and professionally upholstered in a full grain chestnut brown leather, with matching piping and hand-tacked brass studwork to the frame. The removable cushion incorporates traditional fillings and boasts a zipped back, to enable the inner cushion to be cleaned. The cushion is finished with piping around the top and bottom edge. The cushion sits upon a newly sprung and webbed base, finished with a traditional hessian underside – the wingchair is extremely comfortable to sit on. The Queen Anne style leather wing chair is raised on cabriole walnut legs, decorated with shell carvings to the knees, with splayed bock legs to the rear. The left-hand back leg is stamped with a serial number “7515”, which indicates this is a quality wing chair.
