This is a fine quality antique English Regency solid oak revolving music / piano stool with adjustable seat height, circa 1830, in excellent condition. The stool has been recently re-upholstered in a red leather deep buttoned seat, decorated with brass studwork at the base. The leather is clean and free of marks or damage. The seat can be raised or lowered by rotating the seat on a central wooden threaded screw, which is situated below the seat. The chair base also features a reeded frame. The chair sits on classic Regency splayed ring turned and reeded legs to the front and rear, which are united by stretchers for additional security, and also to support the central threaded bar.
This is a fine quality stool and is very functional as it consumes very little space. This item would complement any home, especially the living or dining room, so don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
