The drinks trays are in good original condition. Minor old use marks, scuffs, scratches and general ageing to the finish are present to the trays; they have evidently been used over their many years of service (please see photos), but nothing significant considering their age. However, they remain very attractive rare pieces and are perfectly usable. There are no splits to the trays. The detail in the painted gilt work and mother-of-pearl inlay is intact and shows that the craftsmanship is second to none. They are solid in joint and ready to use.
