Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian Hepplewhite influenced chair, constructed in solid mahogany, circa 1790, which has been French polished and newly upholstered, in good condition. This Georgian dining chair has been designed in the style of George Hepplewhite furniture. The dining chair is constructed of solid mahogany and features a shaped top rail and moulded back; incorporating finely executed pierced escalloped splats, united by a small rectangular bar incorporating a carved cartouche; flanked by moulded vertical rails. The stuff over seat has been newly upholstered in top quality taupe / light grey coloured structured cotton upholstery, with traditional hessian material to the underside. Therefore, the seat is in excellent and clean condition, with no marks or signs of wear and tear. The seat is firm, but comfortable; you do not sink into the seat. The Georgian Hepplewhite influenced chair is raised on cabriole front legs, decorated with floral cartouches. Ideal for use as a single dining chair or office / desk chair.

Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, frames and legs, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair frame has been tightened, cleaned and newly French polished in our workshop to a professional standard. The stuff over seat has been newly upholstered in top quality taupe / light grey coloured structured cotton upholstery, with traditional hessian material to the underside. Therefore, the seat is in excellent and clean condition, with no marks or signs of wear and tear. The seat is firm, but comfortable; you do not sink into the seat. The Georgian Hepplewhite influenced chair boasts a lovely colour and patination, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop. The Georgian Hepplewhite influenced chair is solid in joint, does not wobble and is ready to use.
