Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian pine pew, circa 1870, in good original condition. The pew incorporates shaped sides, with a panelled back, including a moulded top rail. The back and arms attach to a solid pine seat, which is firm, but comfortable to sit on. There is a comfortable lean (rake) to the back of the pew, making it more comfortable to sit at. The pew is raised on sturdy slab legs for added stability. The pew is 3ft 3¼” wide and is an ideal size to accommodate most kitchens or hallways. It’s heavy and sturdy and will stand the test of time with any family!
The pew features warm rich pitch pine colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has have received.

This pine pew is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, specifically the front left corner (see photos), but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no breaks; splits, ink or water stains on the seat of the pew. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. This can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The pew is solid in joint and ready to use.
