The drawers are constructed with moulded fronts; mahogany drawer linings and hand dovetail joints. The drawers also retain the original blue paper lining, which is in very good condition, as well as their original shaped walnut handles. The chest benefits from an attractive moulded frame, with rounded corners and solid construction. The sides of the chest boast the original decorative walnut veneers, along with the original backboards. The chest terminates on an elegant bead moulded protruding plinth.
