The mirror has been replaced therefore the glass is in good condition, free from scratches, foxing or marks. The bases of the vertical supports are decorated with floral carvings above a horizontal block, united by a turned octagonal stretcher, on cabriole legs and terminate on its original brass castors.
The cheval mirror boasts a rich brown mahogany colour. As its boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
