Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian chaise longue, constructed from mahogany, circa 1850, which has been newly upholstered, in excellent condition. The Victorian chaise longue features (when facing) a left-hand raised long sweeping deep buttoned upholstered arm, boasting a stunning quality scroll carved arm and back rail, which unites the seat. The cabriole legs display finely carved floral detail. The seat frame is shaped in an elegant serpentine design. The arm and backrest are solid in joint. The chaise has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality pink & green floral pattern silk embroidered upholstery, incorporating a floral pattern, finished with matching braiding. The stuff over seat has been professionally sprung and is in excellent condition. The seat is firm but comfortable to sit on; you do not sink into the chaise. The underside of the chaise has been traditionally upholstered in hessian backing material. The Victorian chaise longue stands on its original fine quality cabriole front legs and splayed rear leg to the rear, terminating on solid brass castors.
The Victorian chaise longue boasts a stunning mellow mahogany colour, having been professionally cleaned and French polished in our workshop.

Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian chaise longue, constructed from mahogany, circa 1850, which has been newly upholstered, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no missing carvings or mouldings to the frame. The mahogany frame has been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop, therefore the Victorian chaise longue boasts a stunning mellow colour with a lovely patination. The Victorian chaise longue has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top pink & green floral pattern silk embroidered upholstery, finished with matching braiding and stunning deep buttoning to the arm and back. The stuff over seat is sprung is firm but comfortable to sit on; you do not sink into the chaise. The underside of the Victorian chaise longue has been traditionally upholstered in hessian backing material. Therefore, the upholstery is in excellent and clean condition. The Victorian chaise longue stands on its original mahogany cabriole front legs and splayed rear leg, terminating on solid brass castors. The Victorian chaise longue is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
