This is a very good quality antique Mahogany George III two door linen press hanging cupboard, circa 1780. The linen press features two exquisite Arcadian moulded flame mahogany locking door panels which sit below a beautiful dentil Georgian cornice. The top has the original working lock and key. The four oak lined drawers in the base are hand dovetailed. The base also features the original escutcheons with replacement Georgian brass oval plate handles. The linen press has been converted into a hanging cupboard / wardrobe a long time ago and features a brass hanging pole and nine metal hanging hooks.
This item is an excellent investment but also very practical for storage and would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, dining room, hall way or the living room. This item base would certainly grace any home. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
