The sprung seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the seat, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The underside has been finished with traditional hessian material. The stool stands on four fine turned, fluted legs, with pretty floral carved cartouches.

This stool features a mellow warm walnut finish. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
