Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian Regency wash stand table, constructed from solid oak, with a variety of uses, originating from Aqualate Hall in Staffordshire, circa 1820, in excellent original condition. Originally designed for use as a washstand, they are now commonly used as display or occasional tables. Perfect for displaying photographs or ornaments, or for placing the telephone on in the hallway, or for use in the entrance of a restaurant. It is of superb quality, extremely well-constructed, sturdy and heavy in weight. Designed with a shaped gallery upstand, with a small raised shelf, above two large working drawers, which have been constructed with oak-lined hand-dovetailed joints and cock-beaded fronts. The drawer fronts retain the original turned oak knobs. The drawers run smoothly and closes flush to the frame. The washstand is raised on tapering block legs, featuring chamfered corners, which are united by a galleried lower shelf.
This washstand table boasts a rick dark oak colour. It has a fantastic original colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian Regency wash stand table, constructed from solid oak, with a variety of uses, originating from Aqualate Hall in Staffordshire, circa 1820, in excellent original condition. This Regency wash stand table is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, top and sides, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The drawers are in good working order and close flush to the frame, boasting the original oak drawer linings and original oak turned knobs. The frame has been constructed in the traditional joined manner. The washstand has been wax-polished by hand in our workshop, to a professional standard. The table therefore boast a lovely dark rich oak colour and patination. This table is extremely, well-constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
