Here is a top quality pair of vintage glass and brass occasional tables, made in the style of the Art Deco period, circa 1970, in good original condition. The top consists of a thick piece of glass secured by four brass legs, with turned stretchers uniting the legs just below the glass, and a further cross-stretcher below. The legs and stretchers are decorated with collars. The brass boasts a mellow aged colour. The tables are solid in joint and heavy to lift. Ideal as a pair of lamp, coffee or side tables in any either a traditional or contemporary setting.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, specifically the living room. This item would certainly grace any home and is a great investment, as it’s extremely functional. So don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
The tables are in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the brass legs and glass tops, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is no large chips to the thick glass tops. There is a lovely mellow aged colour to the brass. The tables are heavy to lift, which is a sign of quality. They are solid in joint (do not wobble) and are ready to use.
