Here is a fine quality pair of antique English Art Deco bird’s eye maple bedside cupboards, circa 1930, in good original condition. The bedsides are constructed with lovely bird’s eye maple veneers on a solid frame. The bedsides feature a single open shelf with a cupboard below. The cupboard doors retain their original elegantly designed Art Deco mahogany handles, encompassed in walnut bands. The bedsides stand on their original recessed cushion plinths. These bedsides boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the sharp corners, stepped design and clean lines.
These bedsides boast a mellow maple colour. They boast a lovely original colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
These bedsides would be at home in any traditional or contemporary setting and consume very little space. They boast classic art deco styling in the overall design of the curved moulded frame, corners, and clean lines to the tops, the handles and the plinth.

These bedside cupboards are in good original condition, which is commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and tops, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The bedsides feature lovely bird’s eye maple veneers, boasting a mellow maple colour, on solid frames. The doors, which retain the original handles, close flush to the frame and the locking mechanisms work. Importantly, there are no splits or warps to the doors, which ensures they close flush to the frame. The bedsides retain the original backboards and they stands on the original recessed plinth.
