This is a superb Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table circa 1850 – 1870 with an oval shaped framed mirror supported by swirling mahogany supports. Underneath, can be found three shaped drawers with smooth sliding actions and the original knobs. Behind, you can see a small gallery back. The shaped front has an adequate central drawer likewise the sides are shaped. The whole stands on two carved cabriole front supports with ball feet to the front and straight ones to the rear. Underneath, the dressing table there is a shaped foot board.
