The apron is decorated with a finely carved floral cartouche and armchair is raised on moulded cabriole legs, with scroll toes to the front and splayed legs to the rear. The quality of the timber and carvings to this armchair frame is second to none compared to similar chairs on the market today, which is why it is a heavy chair.
