This is a very good quality antique Victorian mahogany two door mirrored chiffonier circa, 1850 – 1860 constructed of flame mahogany. The chiffonier boasts an elongated original mirrored back with a shaped shelf above held in place by carved corbels each side. The mirrored back is attached to the base with screws which means the chiffonier can be used with or without the mirror. The base consists of two shaped drawers opened by placing the fingers below the centre of the drawer. The two doors have shaped inset mahogany panels. There is a reeded adjustable shelf within the base which has four height settings. The chiffonier comes with the original working key and sits on a mahogany plinth. The chiffonier sits on a mahogany plinth and features mahogany backboards. The chiffonier is constructed from top quality flame mahogany timber.
