This is a delightful and good quality antique Georgian Chippendale style mahogany demi lune fold over card table, circa 1900. The table features a lovely quality mahogany polished top when closed. The top of the table features an elegant gadroon edged moulding. Below There is a straight frieze. When the table is opened, the table reveals newly replaced green baize, which is in excellent clean condition. When the table is opened, a slide out leg supports the table but also houses a secret storage box, which is ideal for storing not only playing cards but possibly valuable items too! Elegantly shaped cabriole legs that feature scroll carvings to the frieze of the table terminate in pronounced ball and claw feet support the table.

This is an extremely useful piece of furniture and a great asset to have in any living, dining room, hallway or games room as it consumes very little space.

The table features a rich dark mahogany colour. As they boast the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and the years of care and cleaning they have received.
