This is a good quality English Regency style flame mahogany rectangular coffee table, circa 1970, in excellent original condition. The table boasts a stunning quarter veneered flame mahogany top, on solid mahogany, finished with mahogany-cross banding to the perimeter, with a reeded moulding. The table is raised on elegant lyre shaped legs, in the shape of harps with brass strings, united by a turned stretcher, on splayed reeded legs, which terminate on solid brass lion paw paws and castors.
This item features a mellow mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This item would complement any home, office or living room. So, don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture!
This coffee table is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the table, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is no damage or water stains to the top of the table. The table is well constructed, solid in joint (does not wobble) and is ready to use.
