Description:

This is a good quality English Georgian style bedside chest of drawers, constructed from mahogany, decorated with cross-banding and boxwood inlay, circa 1990, in excellent original condition.  Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, mouldings and frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.  It has been cleaned and professionally wax-polished in our workshop.  The drawers are free running, close flush to the frame and the feature cock beaded fronts, with dovetail construction. The handles are all present and in excellent condition. This Georgian style bedside chest is solid in joint and heavy (which is a sign of quality); it does not wobble and is ready to use.
