Condition Report:
This couch is in excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered in top quality luxurious embroidered floral silk damask upholstery; therefore the upholstery is in excellent condition (it’s clean with no signs of wear and tear or damage). The seat is firmly strung and the undersides are upholstered in traditional hessian. As the couch boasts the original polish it has a fantastic colour and patination to the wood frame; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. It is impossible to re-create this colour if it has been re-polished. The back and arms are also in excellent condition with no splits or loose joints, and no missing carvings to the frames. The item is well constructed, solid in joint overall and is ready to use.
