Here is a good quality French provincial chestnut lower dresser-serving base, which has most likely been constructed from earlier timbers (possibly late 19th century timbers), during the late 20th century, circa 1970. The dresser, which boasts narrow proportions, is constructed of solid chestnut and features a lovely three-plank top with cleated ends. There are three working drawers, which are also constructed of solid chestnut that incorporate steel cup handles, above a simple shaped frieze. The dresser stands on four simple tapering legs. The back of the dresser features a single chestnut backboard. This is an ideal dresser to serve food and cutlery from in either the dining room or kitchen.
The dresser features a superb rustic brown chestnut colour. As it boasts the original polish from earlier timbers, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received (it cannot be recreated by re-polishing).
The dresser would look superb in any hallway, kitchen or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

This dresser is in excellent condition. It has most likely been constructed from earlier timbers (possibly late 19th century timbers) during the late 20th century, circa 1970. Nominal old use marks to the top, leading edges and insides of the drawers but nothing significant considering the age of the timber. The solid chestnut lined drawers feature metal cup handles and close flush to the frame. As the dresser boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic rustic chestnut colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The dresser is well constructed, solid in joint with no loose movements and is ready to be used.
