Here is a pair of very good quality George III style mahogany inlaid bedside chest of drawers, circa 1960. The chests, which are constructed of mahogany, feature a cross-banded top and fronts. The tops also feature satinwood-beaded moulding. Below, the drawer fronts are elegantly decorated with herringbone satinwood & ebony inlay stringing. The drawers also feature cock-beaded fronts. The drawers are decorated with carved metal swan neck handles and are constructed with dovetailed drawer linings plywood drawer bottoms. The chest features a two over three-drawer configuration, which stand on splayed feet with a splayed frieze.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hallway, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

These bedside chests are in excellent condition, commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. All inlay, beading and banding is in intact in excellent condition. There are no stains, damage or scratches to the tops of the bedsides. There is an excellent original colour and patination to the mahogany timber. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. These bedside chests solid in joint and ready to use.
