This is a superb pair of early Victorian mahogany stand / dining / hall chairs circa 1840 – 1850. The chairs boast a shaped carved floral back which is also mirrored in the legs. Both chairs have just been re-upholstered with stuff over seats and new gold & red silk damask material. We offer a re-upholstery service if you do not like the fabric colour. The chairs can be re-upholstered for £45 per chair. The chairs are strong and would look good anywhere especially as they are comfortable and do not take up much space.

These chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour patination to the timber. No breaks to the backs or legs. The seats have recently been upholstered so the seat base and top cover are in excellent condition without any damage, tears or marks. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
