Description:
Here is superb quality pair of fine quality English Georgian Regency neo-classical style satinwood and ebony bedroom cabinets, circa 1970, in excellent original condition. The bedsides feature a classic neo-classical design, with stunning satinwood figuring and chamfered corners. The tops incorporate stunning satinwood veneers, surrounded by ebony style string inlay and satinwood cross banding; this style is repeated on the drawer fronts and cabinet doors. The chests each feature a single, dovetailed satinwood lined drawer. Below is a cabinet, incorporating a single shelf. The drawers and cabinet doors also incorporate classic neo-classical style brass handles, secured by circular shaped escutcheons. The bedsides are raised on splayed feet with a shaped frieze. This is a truly stunning pair of bedsides, owing to the fabulous grain configuration in the satinwood veneers, present to the tops, fronts and sides.

This pair of bedside cabinets would look great in a variety of rooms from the living room as lamp tables, or the bedroom as bedsides. They are an extremely useful pair of bedsides to have in the house. The cabinets boast a warm mellow colour with a lovely patination to the timber.

Condition Report:
This pair of bedroom cabinets is in excellent original condition. They have been French polished and the handles cleaned in our workshops. Please note, the slight discolouration visible at the corner of the top of one of the bedsides is just a reflection in the glass top. There are no marks, scratches or stains to the tops of the cabinets. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and inside drawer bottoms but nothing significant considering the age of the item.  The items are completely original. The drawers are free running and close flush to the frame. All brassware is present and in excellent condition. These bedsides are solid in joint; they do not wobble and are ready to use.
