This is a superb quality pair of antique Victorian flame mahogany bedside chests, circa 1860 – 1880. They each have four graduated working drawers with hand dovetailed joints, mahogany drawer linings and the turned wooden knobs. Each bedside chest boasts traditional round cornered molded edges. Both chests are constructed of top quality solid mahogany timber finished with a superb solid mahogany finish. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from its colonies.
