Description:
Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian 17th century style miniature oak stool, with small proportions, ideally suited for decorative purposes, constructed during the Victorian period, circa 1890, in excellent original condition. The Victorian oak stool is decorated with a sun-burst carved top, flanked by acorn leaves in the four corners. Standing on a block frieze, raised on four mall turned legs, united by a single stretcher. The miniature oak stool has been made from solid oak in the traditional method, with wooden peg joints. The 18th century stool has been cleaned and waxed-polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. Ideal for use as a decorative stool, or displaying items, such as dolls or teddy bears!
This miniature oak stool boasts a lovely deep rich oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.
