Description:
This is a practical vintage Georgian style teak cupboard / cabinet, ideal for shoe or general storage, circa 1950, in good original condition. The cupboard comprises a moulded two-plank top, above a pair of cock beaded doors. The right-hand door retains the original working lock, with a working key, while the left-hand door retains the original sliding bolt latches. The doors open to reveal an interior comprising 10 compartments, as well as a single solid teak internal hand dovetailed drawer, with its original pull ring handle. Below, the cupboard rests on a moulded base, which is raised on bracket feet. There is an optional glass top available with the cupboard if required. The cupboard is solid in joint and ready to use and boasts a lovely warm colour.

Condition Report:
This Georgian style cabinet is in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The optional glass top has visible old use marks to is; specifically, scratches (see photos). The glass top is supplied with the cupboard as an option; it does not have to be used or supplied if you don’t want it. The right-hand door retains the original working lock, with working key, while the left-hand door retains the original sliding bolt latches. The internal drawer is solid wood lined, featuring dovetail construction and retaining the original ring handle. The cupboard boasts its original polish and patination, displaying a rich brown colour. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
