Provenance – Herbert E. Gibbs:
Herbert E. Gibbs trained as a cabinetmaker and also taught carpentry at school. The company produced domestic a commercial furniture, sold through retailers across the UK, including Heals. The company traded until 1975.
This coffee table is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no breaks or damage to the top, frame or legs. The table has been French polished by hand in our workshop to a professional standard, therefore the colour is of an excellent standard.
