Description:

Here is a good quality vintage English Georgian style bookcase / bookshelf, with an open design, circa 1970, measuring 3ft wide, in excellent original condition.  Benefitting from an open design, it is decorated with reeded columns.  The bookcase includes two adjustable shelves with moulded fronts. The original brass pegs can be moved up or down to adjust the height of each shelf. The bookcase stands on a block moulded plinth and bracket feet.

This Georgian Style Bookcase boasts a mellow yew wood colour, having been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop.  Therefore, the colour and patination are of an excellent standard, along with age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This Georgian Style Bookcase would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the office, library or living room.  It would certainly grace any home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional.

Here is a good quality vintage English Georgian style bookcase / bookshelf, with an open design, circa 1970, measuring 3ft wide, in excellent original condition.  Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item.  This Georgian Style Bookcase features a mellow yew wood colour having been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop.  All parts are intact, with no missing sections.  The shelves and adjustable brass pegs are all also intact (none are missing).  The bookcase stands on its original plinth and retains its original bracket feet and backboards.  The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
