Here is a fine quality English 17th century style pair of oak stools, also known as “joint stools”, circa 1960, displaying a stunning rich deep colour, in excellent original condition.   The pair of pair of oak stools incorporate twin-plank oak tops, with good overhang, finished with a thumb-moulded edge over moulded rails to all sides below.  The pair of oak stools are raised on four elegant turned legs, which are united by bar stretchers below for additional support, that terminate on block feet.  The pair of joint stools have been made from solid oak in the traditional method, with wooden peg joints.  The pair of oak stools have been cleaned and waxed-polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard.

This pair of oak stools boast a lovely deep rich oak colour. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

This pair of oak stools would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the hallway, as stools and also as side or lamp tables.
