Description:

This is a good quality vintage English solid teak and glass round G Plan coffee table, attributed to Victor Wilkins for G Plan, circa 1965, displaying a lovely mellow two-tone colour, in excellent original condition.  Attributed to the renowned designer Victor Wilkins, for the “fresco” range, it was one of G Plan’s most popular designs of coffee tables at the time.   After 65 years, the style and design of this table is higher demand than ever before.  It looks stunning in contemporary settings and is a real statement piece.  This timeless G Plan coffee table, incorporates a central removable glass insert, flanked by a solid teak circular two-tone frame, supported by a solid teak shaped legs, the design of which were inspired by Noguchi.

This G Plan coffee table features a lovely mellow two-tone teak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This is a good quality vintage English solid teak and glass round G Plan coffee table, attributed to Victor Wilkins for G Plan, circa 1965, displaying a lovely mellow two-tone colour, in excellent original condition.  Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and the original glass, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.  There are no breaks or damage to the frame, glass, column supports or feet.  As the table boasts the original polish, it boasts a lovely mellow colour.  This table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
