Here is a fine quality pair of vintage English 17th century style solid oak side tables, constructed in the late 20th century, circa 1980, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition. The square shaped tables incorporate a five-plank straight top, above a simple, straight frieze. The tables are raised on sturdy baluster turned legs on bobbin feet. The legs are also united by a pot-board, which is finished with a moulded edge and straight, simple frieze. The tables have been constructed in the traditional mortice and tenon pegged construction method. The item is solid in joint and ready to use. Ideal for use as side, book or lamp tables.
This pair of tables features a lovely rich mid brown oak colour. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

There are no breaks to the frame or legs. The frames have been constructed in the traditional mortice and tenon pegged method.
