Description:
This is a fine a quality antique English William IV rosewood wine table, of small proportions, with tilt-top wine mechanism, circa 1835, in excellent original condition. The table top boasts a stunning colour and grain configuration, and features a “tilt-top” mechanism, with a brass lock and hinges on the underside of the wine table, allowing the table to be stored vertically when not in use, to show off the stunning colour to the top. The wine table is constructed with a fine quality octagonal tapered central pillar, secured with a moulded collar at the base, sitting on a tri-form base, terminating on bud feet. This occasional table boast a fantastic colour and patination and would be ideal as a lamp or wine table in any room in the house.
The wine table boasts a rich colour and patination, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop to a professional standard, along with the years of care and cleaning it has received. This wine table would look superb in a variety of rooms including the dining room, living room or the hallway.
