This is a fantastic quality antique 5ft French two plank solid chestnut refectory farmhouse dinging table, circa 1810, originating from the Basque region of Southern France. The table top is constructed of two single planks planks finished with cleated end, dowelled and pegged tenons (these are a sign of good quality) and sits on tapered legs. There is a central working drawer on side of the table. The table top features a very good colour / patination. The table seats up to 6 people and is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath and is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table.

In very good condition commensurate with age. The table features the original top, base and legs. The table boasts a fantastic colour / patination. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of active wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
