Description:
Here is a fine quality antique Anglo-Indian Art Nouveau inspired solid teak oval occasional table, circa 1930, displaying a lovely rich colour, in excellent original condition. The table incorporates a moulded oval single-plank top (a sign of quality), above a bevel frieze on all sides. The table is elegantly raised on four elongated cabriole legs, united near the bottom by a moulded oval lower shelf. The table retains the original top; the frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. Ideal for use as an occasional table in a hallway / living room, or as a lamp table. The table is solid in joint and ready to use.
The table boasts a lovely rich dark red-broad teak colour. The table has been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard, along with the years of care and cleaning it has received.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the hallway. The table would certainly grace any home or office and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional. So, don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
