This is a good quality antique art deco birds eye maple chest of drawers, circa 1930, in good original condition. The top features a simple straight moulded lip and the frame features refined curved corners. The chest features five working drawers, all with their original wooden handles and sycamore lined dovetailed drawers. The chest stands on its original splayed bracket feet. This piece boasts classic art deco styling in the overall design of the curved corners, clean lines to the tops, the handles and the feet.
The chest features a classic mellow golden birds eye maple art deco colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
