This is a stunning quality antique English Victorian burr walnut table, decorated with boxwood inlay, with an oval shaped top, circa 1860, in excellent original condition. The Victorian burr walnut occasional table incorporates an oval moulded top, with stunning bookmarked quarter burr walnut veneers, decorated with boxwood string and marquetry inlay to the perimeter. The Victorian burr walnut centre table stands on a solid walnut frame, comprising four elegant turned carved legs, united by a central carved pedestal, featuring decorative finials, transcending onto cabriole legs, decorated with floral carved detail to the knees. The Victorian burr walnut occasional table retains its original ceramic brass castors. An ideal occasional / centre table to display silver or photo frames around the house.
This Victorian burr walnut occasional table boasts a stunning rich colour and patination, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop, along with the years of care and cleaning it has received.
This occasional table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the dining / living room or the hallway. The table would certainly grace any traditional or contemporary home or office and is a great investment, as not only is it functional but also very attractive.

This is a stunning quality antique English Victorian burr walnut occasional table, decorated with boxwood inlay, with an oval shaped top, circa 1860, in excellent original condition. The Victorian burr walnut occasional table has been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the top, frame and leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The burr walnut veneer to the tabletop is all complete and in excellent original condition, along with the boxwood marquetry inlay. The Victorian burr walnut occasional table stands on its original brass & ceramic castors. It is solid in joint and ready to use.
