The table is raised on lovely turned tapering legs, with ring turnings at the knees, which terminate on the original solid brass cup castors. The table incorporates two solid mahogany “drop leaves”, which can be opened to extend the size of table, supported by hinged folding tapering legs below. The table can be configured in a multitude of ways, depending on how many chairs are to be used with the table. With the leaves extended, the table can seat up to 6 people. When the table is not in use, the leaves can be lowered and the table stored, to act as a centre table or console table against a wall. The chairs in the picture are not included in the price.
