Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian hall table, constructed of solid mahogany, circa 1780, displaying a lovely mellow colour, in excellent original condition. The table incorporates a single-plank top (a sign of quality), with a moulded edge, above a single working drawer, with shaped corbels below. The drawer retains the original brass swan neck handles & shaped escutcheons. The oak lined drawer is constructed with fine hand dovetail joints and the drawer front is decorated with cock beading. The drawer also retains the original working lock, with working key. The drawer runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame. The table stands on four chamfered block legs. The table retains the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. Ideal for use a side table in a hallway, a console table in the living room, or even a small writing table. The table is solid in joint and ready to use.
The Georgian hall table boasts a lovely mellow mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Here is a fine quality antique Georgian hall table, constructed of solid mahogany, circa 1780, displaying a lovely mellow colour, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The drawer is in good working order; it retains the original drawer linings, closes flush to the frame and retains the original working lock, with working key. The drawer retains the original brass swan neck handles & shaped escutcheons. The Georgian hall table features the original top and backboard to the rear. The underside of the drawer frame has had reinforced with a small oak plank. There are no breaks to the frame or legs of the Georgian hall table. The frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. As the table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic mellow colour and patination. This table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
